After a nice day off it's time to get back on track.
We arrive at KAMINWERK perfectly in time for a very good breakfast, then everybody is free to spend the remaining time until the soundcheck sleeping, eating, talking or - like in my case, hunting for a stable connection.
The problem with finding a stable connection is quite simple: there is a connection in every venue we play, but there are so many people connected and trying to open Skype, uploading pics etc... that in the end, internet gets always stuck and it becomes almost impossible to have it working properly :(
I was thinking how things have changed since when i had my very first tour, back in 98: internet was still there, but not completely melted with our ordinary lives as it is now. People were used to open the PC for checking emails, then stop. Now, every single day, whenever we reach a venue, you see 30 computers opening all together searching for the HOLY CONNECTION, ahah!
A very fast soundcheck and we're ready to go for tonight.
Rob is in perfect shape and completely recovered from that small problem which made us all worry in Milano.
People appreciated us a lot, and I can say the show has been a success (may I? LOL).
What makes me really happpy is to realize that the band is having a very good time together, and there is no sort of tension, of any kind. This is by far the most important thing i appreciate, as 40 days all together can turn into a real HELL, if you find out to share your small enviroment with the wrong people.
The only bad thing about the whole tour, so to say, is the ROUTINE, which makes every day always the same ( mhm, I am pretty sure I already posted something about it ,ahah, you see??).
Auf Wiedersehen Memmingen, let's ride to Erfurt!!
