Being the last day on tour, I will post this day before the show itself, as i dunno if i'll be capable of doing it later
A nice venue, my cold is a bit better and maybe i can make it not to die on stage.
It's the very last show and after almost 40 days away from home ( including travels from and to Italy), I must admit that now I feel some need to see my mountains again.
It's been a long journey and probably none of us had any idea about what to find once wandering around for such a long time.
We are surely stronger now as a band, and as persons. It's been nice to see we made it to share such a small environment like a tourbus all together without any tension.
We come back with the certainty of having done our best in order to spread the name LABYRINTH as much as possible.
People appreciated us a lot, and we feel like we did something good here.
Only time will tell if this has been worth it, but for sure this is something i won't easily forget.
Thanks to everybody who's been around with me, and thanks to Sonata Arctica and their crew for having been really nice guys, surely the best headlining band we ever had the chance to meet along the years.
They need no shit like cutting our soundcheck, no lights nor anything intentionally done in order to damage the other musicians, and this something I really appreciated.
We had the chance to share some cup of Vodka or Jagermeister every now and then, and they've all been friendly and absolutely down to earth. These are the bands who deserve something, and many other bigger names should learn a lot from them.
Hope to see you soon again, someday, somewhere.
I will close this diary with the same sentence which Roberto uses in the end of every show: WE ARE LABYRINTH.
Cheers
Olaf

Day THIRTYFOUR: Haarlem (NL)
Ok let's face it: Holland has the best venues for what concerns the Live shows.
They are just perfectly arranged, people are always nice and everything proceeds just smoothly.
Too bad we only had 2 shows in this wonderful Country!
Update about my health: almost dead, but show must go on
Too bad the machine went out of batteries, so no pics for today :(

Day THIRTYTHREE: Eindhoven (NL)
WOW!
What a VENUE!
EFFENAAR is a 5 floors building entirely dedicated to Concerts.
Since the parking area for the busses to the loading area, the wardrobe for the musicians, an entire floor for Catering area, washing machines etc...
in a single word: INCREDIBLE!
The whole day has been wonderful, and the show has been great as well. Too bad my cold is getting worse :(

Day THIRTYTWO: day off
First day in Holland, and we've a day off.
All the bands and the crew decided to have a pleasant night in a Bowling, where everybody's been free to show off his own abilities (LOL...abilities?ahahah)
I felt quite bad, by the way, and had to go to sleep really early in order to recover

Day THIRTY: London (UK)
Wow, what a venue!
Perfectly organized in order to give musicians nice restrooms and a good stage.
As a nice surprise, we also got a visit from Herman and Sam, the 2 guitarists from Dragonforce, who came for attending the show and saying hi.
Last show in England, tomorrow it's time to go back to the Old Continent!

Day TWENTYNINE:Reading (UK)
Yes, we're starting to feel a bit tired. It's more than a month on the road, close to 10.000 km driven up and down all around Europe, and almost one show per night. I guess we deserve a nap...
Day TWENTYEIGHT:Cardiff (UK)
It seems this blog finally lets me write something, again.Until yesterday there was no chance to do anything else but posting pics. So far England has been ok, but honestly I think 7 shows are even too many. By the way, thanks to the many people who've been approaching us and showing us their appreciacion! Tonight Wales, show us how fierce you are :)
